And he still thinks we cover. I don't see LSU not covering this spread.

I was at Emeril Lagasse's Stadium Tuesday night, and the board had LSU as a 3.5 point favorite. Bet the ranch on the Tigahs.

Our strength has been our defense. This year the LSU D is overall young or first time starters. Thus it makes the D as a whole unreliable, and it goes unset that the offense has been a giant question mark.

He is saying, I think, that TCU's youth is more spread out, and can be masked by their strengths in proven players like Pachall.

Seems logical to fit their agenda.

No, what he is saying is that they have young players, but they have more experience on the field than some of our guys do. We have a lot of younger guys that didn't get as much playing time/starting time as some of the guys playing for TCU.

Our youngest, and weakest to him, is the d line and their O line is young as well. Besides the fact that he is overlooking the talent of our guys, TCU is hurting there. Not to mention he ignored their problems at linebacker. And what is the clear strength of LSU offense during Les? Running the ball

They have a senior quarterback, which is a strength. We have a senior quarterback.

They have a young team on defense, which is a neutral, but we have a young team on defense and it is a weakness.

Wow.

How about this. We have recruited superior players in each of the last four years.

I'll agree to disagree on that one. Especially considering most if not all of LSU's projected starters have seen plenty of PT. The real issue is that for the first time in a while, LSU has little experienced depth. The depth being one the biggest reasons for having such a strong defense.

Right and they just lost a starter on that OL. Does not bode well against a Chavis DL. We have a plethora of unknown talent. People don't know about them, so they are gun shy to say we are going to be a star studded defense by the end of the season, but we will.

LSU will be able to run the football at will against their DL which will be decimated without Fields. I also believe LSU will be able to throw the ball effectively against them with CC at the helm.

I don't see this game being all that close by the end of it.

In a little more than a week, TCU will face LSU in a game Patterson really no longer wants. The same, he thinks, for LSU head coach Les Miles.

“This will be the youngest team we've ever put in a game of this magnitude,” Patterson said. “I think both teams, to be honest with you, with as young as we are (don’t want) have this ball game as the first game. Both teams are pretty young, but it is what it is.”

Looks like Patterson still doesn't know when to shut his mouth concerning Les Miles.

I can't wait til we donkey punch them in their hometown in front of the whole country.

There is nothing to disagree with what I said. They are returning 10 starters on the defensive side of the football. There is a difference between a starter and a guy who saw some playing time later in games.

I do not think that this will benefit them and have an impact on the outcome of the football game, as I think we will wear them down, but when you return 10 starters to a defense, you have more experience than LSU does on that side of the ball.

Just face it, we're friends on everything except scheduling. Perfectly natural.

It seems to me that there are many games where LSU does not cover the spread and likewise LSU does not allow the opposing team to cover the spread.
