Are they worth eating if they aren't hot? Like buying them online?

Any of you goobers got a boiled nut recipe?

I used to stop by the guy on plank road back in the 90's to buy but never cooked my own.

Awww man...it's been YEARS since I've had a big bag of fresh boiled peanuts. I used to love frequenting a couple particular roadside vendors.

Won't have THAT in Alaska.

Sack of peanuts, box or two of salt, half a can of crab boil, and 24-48 beers to drink while they boil for an hour and soak for 3. I recommend a Saturday.

Boiling them on the stove in crab boil makes my house smell like success. Not a better smell on a crisp fall day with all the windows and doors open with football games on
