My wife's uncle passed down some physical silver to her and some of her family members. We were wondering where is the best place to sell it to get the best deal. I might be wrong but I just automatically assume that a pawn shop will probably rip us off. Please be gentle because we don't know the first thing about the process. Thanks.

Pawn shop - Ripoff
Gold Xchange, Coin and Treasure, Coin shop - about 70% of value
Craigslist/ebay - 95-105% of value

Hell what you got. I may want to buy it? I love stacking silver and gold. If nothing else I can tell you exactly what it is worth, etc.

My wife said it's silver dimes and quarters from the 20's to the 70's and some random old silver coins thrown in. I've never seen them, they are at her moms house.

Check out LINK

Dimes and quarters made prior to 1965 are 90% silver. 1965 to current have no silver value.

It will give you the value of your dimes/quarters based on current spot price of silver.

If you have any questions email me.

Nope, you are correct.

Get you one of them 'Red' coin books from Books a Million or Barnes and Noble.

Check every coin out, you may have a few valuable coins in your stack.

Good luck
