same thing happened to me at the roulette table, they all said red and scoffed when I hit on black. 'who's the idiot now?' is what I say

and Mr. Perfect authoring that post is ironic.

When gov't stops subsidizing their $70k product, what will the stock do?

back on topic, I remember a couple years ago Musk talking about the low center of gravity that the battery would yield for the car. I'm guessing that would help with the rating and help with handling at high speeds.

If the projections are right (and Tesla/Musk have been firing on all non-existent cylinders in this regard), then Tesla will be able to turn a profit without any credits very soon.

So, to answer the question, the stock will likely double again once Tesla proves it can make money on its own.

Saw a model s at Publix last week, one of the sharpest vehicles I've ever seen in my life. Easily justify 60-70k price tag.

More like 100k for the one with decent range. But yeah, they're all over the place in Shreveport of all places.

Saw one up here in NOVA on Saturday. I agree with you. Beautiful car. It's the range that makes me discount it as a possibility in my garage.

I don't need a car for a few more years. It is basically cornering the market for when I make my decision at this pace

Many many industries are subsidized in one way or another.

Great point. The subsidies for electric vehicles are still less than half as much as subsidies for fossil fuels.

I got in at $40. Thinking about selling soon if Musk starts stretching himself too thin again with this rail business.

Musk is the new Steve Jobs. He is finally out in the public and we need a new visionary to ignite the hope for what 'can be'.

From what I understand, Musk has no desire to build the hyperloop himself. He came up with the idea but wants someone else to actually build it because he is too busy with his other ventures.

Went from $143 a couple days ago to $160 today.

I need to get off the sideline before it's too late.
