Personally, I don't mind it. My wife's family are all A&M grads. I spend every other Thanksgiving with them in Beaumont. I'll make sure I adjust my schedule to watch the Thanksgiving day games with them. But it still pisses me off to see LSU continually get screwed by the SEC.

LSU should just go back to being a shitty team. Then the SEC wouldn't give a shite about us and we could have a fair schedule and play at night in Tiger Stadium!

The SEC always screws LSU. I was slow to buy into the scheduling conspiracy, but with every punch to the gut it becomes more real.

At some point, you've got to make a stand. Being nice has gotten LSU nothing but more manure shoveled on top of us.

BAMA wasn't asked to change a tradition...it was asked to return TO a tradition. How is that not clear? Or is your suggestion that anytime the SEC finally steps in an tells BAMA "No" about something suddenly means fairness reigns?
My point is that Bama was ordered to do something that they didn't want to do. Narcissistic LSU fans pretend that this only happens to LSU.

No it hasn't. You're paranoid and narcissistic to the point that you can't see opposing views without calling people trolls. You're being crazy.

Balls...you are correct, the SEC office treats all teams as equals, you can really see that demonstrated with the AL and LSU "bridge" schedules of 2012 and 2013...lol

The opposing view is that the world doesn't revolve around LSU and that it's crazy to think that the SEC is out to screw LSU.

If there WAS an agenda of some sort, might it be a reaction against some schools' habitual placing of bye weeks right before their Bama game?

This is actually true of the SEC and not of some other conferences. That's part of the reason why we have A&M and Mizzou.

Did LSU get fewer votes than everybody else?

Actually yes.

# of LSU grads that head up the SEC scheudling office - 0
# of Bama grads that head up the SEC scheduling office - 1

Why did Bama get 4 home division games last year and A&M only had 2? Everyone else had 3 home and 3 road. Why was Bama scheduled to open up the SEC schedule at A&M, but that game was not only moved to later in the season, but to Tuscaloosa as well?

Can you remind us what happened when Alabama complained about so many teams having bye weeks before playing them in 2010?

And as a follow up can you explain how bye weeks are scheduled?

I remember hearing him go off about this, and I agree with his criticism of the move: The SEC seems to respect some school's traditions and wants to preserve those traditions (such as Bama/UT and UGA/Auburn); however the LSU tradition of Saturday night games in Tiger Stadium takes a back seat to the CBS TV contract (with the exception of a few Bama & UF home games here and there). Wasn't it a fairly recent season where all our SEC home games were day games?

Don't get me wrong. I understand the CBS contract, and I know that if we play at 2:30 a lot, it is because we have a good team.

But it seems like as a founding member of the SEC, LSU should have more leverage about scheduling the A&M game, but the conference wants to give the new guys their traditional Thanksgiving game, and to hell with what LSU wants.

Jesus pal...the "bridge" schedules have been pieced together by Mr. Womack and the SEC office, NOT "voted" on for 3 consecutive years ! IF, you can't see / won't admit to a pretty clear bias on something as obvious as this...then your opinion on this matter, carries very little weight.
