Thanks for Superchunk link. I lived in Houston and Austin in early '00s, fell in love with CG, Li'l Cap n Travis, Spoon,etc..and the Continental Club,etc..dives where they could be seen up close and cheaply.

'Broken Records' is definitely one of GC's top five tunes. I'm also partial to Sparks with that solid lap steel guitar work.

Need Kafka to make me a top twenty lap steel guitar song list for a steel guitar mix tape. Love the lap steel work in Jack White and Loretta Lynn's Portland

Nice tune. Oberst still so young and already has so much product via Bright Eyes, Desaparecidos, solo work,etc..
