I am really having a problem with a song. I've tried to google the lyrics and youtube the lyrics. I don't know the artist. I think it came out in 1966 or 1967. I think the opening lyric is, "Let's go down and blow our mind in Toyland. Things down there aren't quite so square in Toyland."
I have asked some friends my age and they say they have never heard of it. They think that I'm imagining it. I think I need to email some oldies show. It's driving me crazy (and I'm crazy enough).

I googled "Let's go down and blow your mind in Toyland. lyrics" and came across the same link that Dandy Lion found titled "JESS RODEN Comments". Scrolling through I found the reference to "Alan Bown”. Then searched YouTube.

That's how dumb I am. When Dandy Lion posted "Jess Roden" I youtubed him and started listening to his music. I liked it -- then again I like most of the stuff Dandy Lion posts.
