Les miles is the most stubborn coach in America. I don't care how good TCU has defended the run in the past, CLM will either establish the run, or die trying.

Let's set the bar at 150 yards. Over/under for LSU rushing?

I wouldn't be surprised to see us rush for 200+ honestly. It's our bread and butter.

Two different backs will run for over 100 each. And McGee will receive for over 75 out of backfield.

LSU ran for 161 yards (without sacks) last year against the #1 rush defense in the nation. I think they will be OK against TCU.

This'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Coach P is gonna throw 7-8 in the box the entire game and force Mett to beat us with his arm. I think the game is going to come down to whether or not our secondary is as good as everyone is saying it is. Verrett is a given, so we'll just have to see if White has stepped up as reported, and if Olabode, Hackett, and Carter are at or improved from the level of play last year.

No hate, but your defense is not in the same universe at Bama's. We'll manage.

That is what teams have been doing for the past 5 years to LSU's QBs.

Well the thing is TCU typically sells out against the run, which you could get away with in the Mountain West conference, but I think LSU will keep them off balance with a decent passing game.

Rightfully so. If you don't follow that game plan, y'all have had RB's for years and years who will run all over defenses.

It's funny when they do that even when a team does follow that game plan.

with blue, hill, and Hilliard? dont forget about big #44!! i think every team will have times where it will be difficult to contain the run.

Well most importantly if LSU does rush for under 150 they've lost the game in my opinion. That being said I see them rushing for 200. If CLM pulls ahead late in the third, look for that stable to just keep rotating and pounding the ball. I believe that'll be the first thing LSU does. Establish the line of scrimmage. That will set up the play action feel ball which is what CC wants to do.
