Not anymore. I thought the Season 2 finale was a huge mess, and I couldn't get through S03E01. I've completely lost interest in the show and its characters, and I never liked it enough in the first place to keep plodding through at this point.

Besides what happened on the season 2 finale, I love this show. But season 3 seems to have scenes that are random and have nothing to do with the script. Maybe it will all tie in together later. I'm kind of skeptical with the new writers.

But I must say, the end of the season premiere was interesting.

I enjoyed the first two seasons...agree that the season 2 finale was strange.

...did a netflix binge of this show the last few weeks. Why are there new directors? What happened to the old ones?

This is what I found on google

quote:

Though Hell on Wheels will return with all the gun-fighting, scheming, ruthless frontier capitalism, and bloody revenge of its previous seasons, it will do so without two crucial elements to its success: Showrunners Joe and Tony Gayton are stepping down from the drivers’ seats. Having fulfilled their two-year contract to write and direct the series, the Gaytons have decided to move on to other projects. In their place, writer/director John Shiban will take over as the primary creative engine of Hell on Wheels’ third season (and perhaps beyond).

Shiban did some writing for Breaking Bad and The X-Files...that's cool.

I didn't know he did that. I have been scared that some of the story lines are going nowhere, like when Bohannon and Ferguson go to meet the Irish gangster in New York. I would expect that to come in to play later but it just abruptly ended. Or so it seemed to me.

He's done a good job with the first three episodes. It's slowly becoming my second favorite action/drama on television.

I have really enjoyed it...I'm guessing Breaking Bad is your #!, and it's mine too.

Love the cast. Bohannon is just a badass. Durant is great as well.

Love the time period and historical aspect of the show.

Cullen gives off a younger Josey Wales kind of vibe. I do like the casting, yeah, Its hard to beat Breaking Bad. Bums me out this is the last season so I'm hoping hell on wheels continues to get better with a decent run.

Between Durant, the Swede, and the bloodthirsty educated soldier who looks like Vader, already this season..it will hopefully have its moments.

Just wish Ted Levine could have hung around longer.

I liked the first two seasons of the walking dead but..really have no excitement for the upcoming season. Amc has kind of fumbled the ball on that show.

I actually just started watching the first season on Netflix. I obviously won't scroll too far down as I don't want anything spoiled for me, but I'm really enjoying it so far.
