anything can be labeled assault if I assault you with it, if you want to stand for gun control use proper terminology, its a semi automatic rifle.
also I can reload a 10round mag the same time I can load a 30 rounder so,,,,

quote:

Why is it that you feel you need to leave this documentation of your life when almost nobody else feels that way?

quote:

Fair question, but I’m not like everybody else. If I was, I’d have kids. And, if I had kids, I wouldn’t even be thinking about suicide because there would be too many reasons why I shouldn’t. The simple fact is that I believe I have a right to leave a documented history of my life for the world to see or ignore. If I don’t, then what was the point of having taken up space on this earth for 58 years?

This guy is self centered attention whore that thinks he is smarter or more important than everyone else. If he really went through with it then the world is a better place without him and he should soon be forgotten.

Might just be a soul who has temporarily become disoriented, and will take up the struggle where he left off in the next life, AB. That's the best we can hope for.

We are all f'ups in somebody's judgment.

quote:

You know what make me happy. The fact that people owning "assault rifles" makes people like you upset. And we'll always be allowed to own those guns. It will never change as much as you want it too. You know why? Because the pen is only mightier than the sword until the guy with the sword tells the guy with the pen he can go frick himself. I've never owned a gun in my life but reading posts like yours make me want to go out and buy one. And it's gonna be an AR-15 or AK or something like that with a shitton of 30 rd mags. I might by two or three. I'll probably never shoot until some a-hole tries to take it away.

Spoken like a true Poliboard warrior!

You are a sad man. If someone has a like it is now addiction.. Constitutional Rights stem from addictions... great

No, no no. You are terribly mistaken. I am very happy with my life. Yes, I stand to lose it if someone with a gun confronted me.

But I can honestly say I don't live in fear of my life, or my families. This world is full if all sorts of evils that could visit us, yet we remain happy, joyful, and paranoia-free (my wife maybe a slight exception sometimes lol).

So you think you enjoy a measure of freedom because the Constitution says you can watch pornography, eat like a glutton, drink yourself silly, and smoke like a chimney? You think that's freedom? That's not freedom. That's you making yourself a slave to fleshly thinking. Sure, you might not see pain initially, but inevitable, you have to account for it.

And that's not to say people who live their lives right don't experience ills either. We all do.

But to say I'm sad just because I point out some obvious overindulgent ways, doesn't change the fact that it is wrong.

And I will stand by this: 'Gun-lovers' are not the poster-children for 'happy people'. If anything, they are the exact opposite

You know what is funny? Last time I checked freedom is to have the ability to do what ever the hell you want until it begins to infringe on others rights, such as the right to body, life and property. You can judge how others live but that doesn't make them any less wrong than you. People find happiness in different things weather it is in guns or queers. And they have every right to make that decision on their own.

What you consider "overindulgent" is not overindulgent to others. Everyone thinks differently. And claiming that all guns owners are not happy people is crazy, because once again what makes YOU happy does not make THEM happy.

Ethan, that's a crock.
Live in your own head much?
There are millions (like me) who are gun lovers and happy to be gun lovers.
Personally, I look at guns as tools.
Tools for hunting, protection, collecting recreation and being prepared for any scenario. Signals of unhappiness? That's just absurd.

Try taking a look inside and taking an inventory of the reasons you decided that your idea of happiness is absolute.

Pointing it out is one thing. But you, like the 60 year old Bapstist, bingo-playing, blue haired bitty, think everyone should be forced to live according to your morality.

Liberal progressives and the Evangelicals are closer than either group realizes.
