Vadal Alexander stepped into a starting role for the Tigers last season, and now there's another ESPN 300 recruit to watch in the trenches for 2013. Pocic, an early enrollee, was the No. 6-rated OT in his class but has also seen action with the first team at center in Baton Rouge. A big, physical lineman with good agility and balance, Pocic could end up seeing extensive time for LSU.

Freshman preseason polls? Is this really necessary?

I mean what did they do just create this list based off their recruiting rankings?

I hope he gets on the post-season list. Congrats to Ethan, and to the coaches for bringing him to BR.

Of all the useless preseason polls and AA teams this one stands out.

This, and also from what there hearing on who has the best chances of starting and getting a lot of playing time from what I heard the guy say on ESPN college show.

My thoughts exactly. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Nonetheless, congrats to Pocic.. he's a hell of a player.

Baby Whitworth.

"Camerban" sees it already.

BTW, Cameron sounds like Saban when he speaks. Has the hands going and the "Aights" and all, hence the "Camerban" name.

Please dear God, let his "Process" be strong enough to cut through all the Miles BS and allow the offense to reach its full potential.

He's good enough to possibly take the starting center job away from Elliot Porter even though Pocic never played center before reporting to LSU.

He enrolled early, so it seems like he's had as much time as anyone to learn the playbook. I'll say this, he's 6'7 or something. I'd rather a short, squat guy opposed to Ethan's frame. Then again, think back to Patrick Peterson. At no point has miles put a true freshman on the field to start a game (st not included) that has not in turn been nfl drafted. If the coaches give him the spot, he's nfl talent.
