I was being sarcastic with the well-connected comment, chief. I'm confused at the point you were trying to make though. You said internet postings were not indicative of how hard tickets are to come by, and then you follow it up by using stubhub to make a point about how easy tickets are to come by.

I was more responding to your post where you had a link for one for a couple hundred bucks thinking you were saying this was all that was available. So I searched and saw all of those at reasonable prices showing that the market actually is flooded.

All i can say is if you lived in Houston, you wouldn't be whining. Largest LSU Alum base outside BR is Houston. This was in the works for a loooooooooooong time. It's happening in baseball as well (LSU will play in the astros foundation college classic in 2 years) and it will happen in basketball too.
Plus, if I could only go to one game in my life at EITHER camp randall or lambeau....easy choice, Lambeau.

You know what, it is. But college football is about the pageantry, the on campus atmosphere. You don't get that at neutral site games no matter how awesome the stadium. The packers play 10+ games there a year if you're interested in the stadium.

College football is about making money.

Which is why the NFL blows it away in ratings every year.

College football from '70-'95 was amazing now it's a diluted product.

Why should fans care about neutral site games. Gives us a fun road trip against a good team. I don't see any negative.

If u want to see a game in Madison, go up there when the Badgers have a home game.

What was the odds of LSU ever scheduling Wisconsin home/home anyway in your lifetime. LSU is not interested in a home/home game with them. Get over it and be glad that are even playing them at all if u are fascinated with the Badgers.
Rob u of what, its not like they had originally agreed to a home/home and then changed it.
Whats your fascination with Madison or Wisconsin anyway?

If LSU is making soooo much jack from all of these neutral site games, why is it then imperative that both TAF contributions AND season ticket prices will be rising next year ? Seems like all this "extra money" could offset price increases particularly since the home schedule continues to be down-graded.

It actually would be funny if the whole deal wasn't such a blatant money grab !
Throw a bone and come out and say the OK series WILL be home/home...that makes the nay-sayers like me button up !

Don't get your jimmies rustled over it. Every entity that makes and uses money will increases prices as long as the supply (seats/parking) remains the same and demand is high. Adding an extra $ source just means there is more to spend; it does not affect the supply/demand aspect.

I'm talking about me personally which defines what I want.

It's part of it. The tailgating before, interacting with fans, seeing the campus, seeing their traditions, etc. that's what makes college ball better than the pros.

I still don't understand why the game has to be played at a neutral site to make the money.
It's not the stadium that make people want to watch or sponsers flock to it.
It's the two quality teams playing each other.

WHy can't they get the sponsers and hype it up but have the game in Madison. Then next year do it again in Baton ROuge. Both teams splitting the money from the sponsers each year.
