“I’ve never see a guy that size that can move that well,” Barrow said of Beckwith. “He’s doing great at linebacker right now. I think the future is very bright for him.”

quote:

“He’s fast,” running back Alfred Blue said. “When he ran his 40, I couldn’t believe how fast he was moving.”

This guy is going to be an all American freshman. He is going to wreck shop from game 1 IMO

Why is there a shop? And why does it have to be wrecked?

Watch Beckwith truck this guy at 3:19 when he hits the hole late in the play. He absolutely crushed him haha...

Went to jamboree game against Central last year. He was a man amongst boys. He was playing both ways. Had a touchdown on offense and defense. Remember thinking at the time how good he could be if he were rested up & playing defense only. Was playing qb and running over defenders like he was playing against the J.V. Keep in mind Central is 5A, E Feliciana is 3A

Would be a waste of talent at TE,IMO.This kid has the potential to be a high impact game changer on the defensive side of the football.

Seems like they would move him to defensive end instead of running him at 3rd string SAM linebacker. Or at least middle linebacker as big as he is.

Do you guys think he could end up at Mike linebacker or DE at some point? 6'3 in the 230's is a huge OLB for a Chavis defense and I get that he can move. He just seems destined for DE to me.

He is not third string Sam. The writer had the depth chart all screwed up.

Does Les East not have an editor?

He’s doing a great at linebacker right now.

Beckwith said he expects to be reach or approach his playing weight

or Matthew Harris

He's gonna be great. What about Lorenzo Phillips? Haven't heard to much about him.

Watched him single handedly beat #1 seed Farmerville last year. Scary combination of speed and size. He's going to be a good one.
