To try and change the subject a little...

Besides Holiday, Gordon, Evans, Anderson, and Davis, who will have the biggest impact for the Pelicans this season?

Roberts
Rivers
Morrow
Aminu
Miller
Thomas
Smith
Stiemsma
Withey

...would like to hear your thoughts on it too, as opposed to just a one name answer. TIA.

I say Aminu because he may still be the starting SF.

I'd wager that Stiemsma will have the biggest impact solely because he'll be expected to pick up the slack as a defensive center.

He'll get stuck with the dirty work on nights where we're playing teams with good bigs like Gasol and Randolph of Memphis.

The next biggest impact likely comes from Rivers or Morrow, as one or both will end up being an offensive sparkplug on the second unit. Considering how badly we played about one quarter per game last year, having a semi-competent set of shooters out there will help take the pressure off of the starters to be on the court all night.

Well I see Stietsma and Aminu starting, so probably both of those guys

I think Jason Smith is gonna play a big role off the bench as the 3rd/4th big

Outside of Roberts and occasionally Rivers I don't see many of the other guys on that list getting any real significant playing time

Morrow/Roberts/Smiht in bench scoring
Rivers/Aminu in defense

Overall, I think that Aminu will be the MIP of this team at season's end. He has done nothing but improve every year. If he can be a 10/10/5/2 (which he's not that far off from) SF for us, he's def getting it done. I really think Aminu will thrive in this new offense. No pressure!!!

...looking forward to see how Aminu fits in/how he has improved this season as well.

We're crowded, but I hope we get to see more of Darius Miller...I didn't think he would last long after his rookie season, but he was impressive in summer league.

Of course it's summer league, but he was a knockdown shooter and quite dominant at times...he worked hard and improved his body/conditioning as well.

How is his defense? I really don't know...knockdown shooter that can defend is what everyone has been clamoring for for several seasons, it seems.

Morrow and Miller seem to maybe fit that mold. Is Morrow truly terrible on D or is that overblown?

I think rivers will start to develop into a jerryd bayless type player.

With that being said, aminu could have very possibly developed a solid one handed shot and some finishing ability

I'm going with j smith because he should get a lot of time
