Stocks. Any OTers looking at anything promising?

Just sold some alcoa for a small profit. I now have about 4 grand to mess around with. Looking for some short term trades. What ya got?

small profit is right. it's 52 week low is 7.63

Yeah? You think it will bounce back? One year target estimate is around 15 dollars back where it was in September. I don't know much about them.

I think its past the prime time to buy to catch the growth, but the company's setup well to continue to take over market share and improve profit margins over the long term. It should stabilize some and weather a downturn much better than its peers.

AFL has a 2.3% dividend, trading at 8.5ish P/E, and they just announced that they will be selling through Japanese Post. For those that don't know, Japanese Post is the largest insurer in the world so essentially their distribution model got 1000x better in Japan in the past couple weeks. It is a big deal considering over 3 quarters of Aflac revenue comes from Japan.
I have been watching the currency market considering what Japan does with their currency affects revenue which is the only reason I don't start investing
Also, they seem to be well known for producing significant amount of data and being transparent so I find it hard to believe they will just collapse

Yeah I started looking at it. Do you think $6 is a good price? Looks like it hit a floor at around $5.20.
Also there is alot of open interest in their call options for $9 strike. $8 calls as well.
I don't know much about biapharma and omega 3 fatty acids. Why do you think it's a deal and what would you buy at?

TASR may still have room for growth although I'm about to sell at 11 for a 25% profit. I don't want to risk it dropping. Nothing wrong with just taking 25%. I'd recommend keeping an eye on it.

Yeah I haven't been watching it but it look like a good time to sell. I don't think there's any short term growth. You bought at 7.75?
