This thread started off well, with good information but unfortunately it quickly turned into garbage, thanks to a few so-called LSU fans who can't even support their own players or coaches. The season hasn't even started...

I don't like to post notes from the scrimmage on a message board, because it is a private deal, and they are very big on no cell phones, pics, etc... during it.
I will say that the songs played over the sound system during part of the redzone session that I recall were:
- Kanye West - Gold Digger
- James Brown - I Feel Good
- Drake - Started From the Bottom (terrible song)
- Some really bad half country half rap song
I will also say that stats from a scrimmage are pretty pointless. They work a lot on situational stuff. They also tend to work on one faction of the offense during each possession instead of changing up personnel groupings and formations much on a drive.

Any of yall ever consider that there is a strong difference between the practice field and when the lights come on for real? I'm not picking sides in the battle, but maybe Welter is lighting it up in practice (some of yall mentioned JJ getting praise as well when he was here during fall drills). If Welter is deficient in the first couple games I'm sure he will find his way to the bench with more capable people taking his snaps. I think with the limited amount of information out there, it makes small issues like this one much larger.
Hell I've seen Jennings practice a few times and looked really good in each, though who in the hell knows how he will react when the lights come on for real.

I dont see why everyone is hating on LEE's comments. All he said is that we need to give Welter a chance and see what he can do. He supported this statement by referencing CLM's comment of saying Welter is having a strong camp and strong in practice. Its not like Les would say someone is having a strong camp if they are not IN HIS OPINION. Then a poster ACTUALLY said that he trusts a couple posters opinion on Welter more than they trusted the head fricking coach. Ive seen it all. And i know someone is going to reference Les saying that JJ was having a strong camp so it lessens the strength of his opinion but im sure that JJ really did and WAS having a strong camp. I mean the dude was a physical freak and could hum the ball with the best of em. He just didnt have it upstairs to perform to his potential in the games, which demands quick decision making and making reads, etc.. when i went to a game in TS JJ looked like the fastest guy on the field and threw an extremely pretty ball when he had time so I really do believe Les when he was saying that JJ was performing great in camp. Hell, when JJ was throwing at the NFL combine showing just pure talent he was in the top 5 in every category. Some of yall just smell blood when someone makes an unpopular opinion and jump all over them like a kid on a playground! I agree with ya LEE. I know there are only a select few that act like this on the board because there are a lot of quality posters on here but damn some of yall need to grow up! Okay, rant over.
