It's a pleasant surprise to see such a nice piece written on some of the kids at U-High that aren't household names.

It's kind of funny reading Mahaffey's responses to questions about defensive players. 
Couple questions:
How tall are the two ends?
And didn't Antoine start at CB last year as a freshman?

I think one is listed as 6'3" and the other is 6'5" or a little over. In Chad's defense, he lets Coach Martin manage the defense, much like Les does with The Chief. And we rotated the DB's last year as several played both ways. And we will have more of that this year (2 way players) as we have fewer kids this year overall, and because of youth.

Congrats RB! I told Tre that Matthew is one of my favorite players. I love the intensity that he plays with. He is a true team player and a warrior! Great things are coming his way. I truly believe that!

Thanks guys. He said they wanted him to kickoff, but he didn't want to do it just because he loves being a gunner on the coverage team, so apparently he cut a deal that if he kicks off, someone else hangs back as safety. He figures he will gain a step on flying down the field if he knows exactly when the ball leaves the tee.

They were college fraternity brothers and seem to have a great relationship. Do you have some other impression?
