Obviously he's talking about LSU, but as he talked I couldn't help thinking about the Saints. He really explains how our offense functions and why Drew is so hard to sack. I'm sure all offenses try to do what he's talking about; the Saints just happen to do it better than just about anyone else.

He kinda sounds like Saban. Even said "aight" a couple times.

I am deeply confused by the cogent, coherent response to a question posed. I just don't know what to do at this point.

Wow, I think it's the purple/gold press background that's throwing me off. I usually expect the person in front of that background to be Miles, and there is no such thing as a useful answer when he starts talking.

It's an interesting concept and one that I never thought of...and I'm sure nearly all average fans haven't either.

"Here's the great misconception about pass protection....that it starts with the offensive line. The real race in pass protection is a race between the receiver getting open and the defensive end getting to the quarterback."

He goes on to say that pass protection starts at the receiver getting open, the QB getting the ball out quickly and then the offensive line stopping their most dominate rusher(s).

Makes alot of sense when thought of that way.

quote:

He really explains how our offense functions and why Drew is so hard to sack.

Pocket presence...sensing pressure without having to see it coming, knowing when to slide, when to move up, when to throw it away. That's what I think makes Drew so hard to sack. All of your great QB's have that.
