could be but unfortunately more often than not in random situations like this... drugs is a pretty good guess. Not saying its an absolute but you can't really fault someone for that being their first inclination these days.

I ask the same question about you for every thread you start. Shouldn't you be asking how Frat everyone is today?

I ask because it's a thread about a "celebrity." Must not be A class "celebrity."

Thoughts with the family, btw.

Also, I had an issue with people getting all defensive when someone said it could be drugs and then go and act like everyone here knew her personally. Everyone has skeletons. EVERYONE.

Meh. Usually drugs will pop in my mind if they have any history of drug abuse outside of that drugs never are first thought. Seems like a rare place for the mind to jump to.

Many times they won't say what it is because it just isn't our business. It will come out eventually but usually when fighting for their life they keep it quiet no matter what.

Drugs are a weird place for a mind to go to for a smoking hot 29 yr old aspiring model/actress/reality tv star surround by money dating a millionaire basketball player. I'm sorry but get that shite out of here. I'm not judging you for not thinking that but you shouldn't fault others for that being their first guess when everything is tight lipped hush hush about the cause of this when something happened monday night.

I never said I faulted others. I just stated usually there's ton of rumors about drug use or past drug hse for it to make me think drug use. Now if she has history of it then ya ill say drugs.
But publicist are alwats hush hush when a celebrity Is in hospital. It cones out after death or recovery unless reporter figures it out first.

A minor celebrity gf died over weekend in hiking accident and the family kept it hush hush until she was declared dead. Why wouod anyone hide a hiking accident? Some people want privacy at first

Why do we need to guess? She's embraced the city and team far more than any WAG can be expected too. For that alone I think she has earned the right to let the facts come out rather than us jumping to conclusions.

Being a coke head just didn't fit the profile. People that OD on drugs are typically trying to fill a void in their lives. Gia wasn't a fallen star looking for that old familiar high, she was a 15 minutes of fame Dlister that had done a good job of extending her 15 minutes on the Dlist. On top of that, she and Ryan seemed like a genuinely happy couple, almost sickeningly sweet. Like I said before, if you're going to assume this was self inflicted, which you really shouldn't, some sort of eating disorder would fit the profile much better than drugs. Unfortunately it sounds like it's much more serious than that.

Yes because using an example of someone over the weekend as families keep hush no matter what is me saying she had the exact same accident. Def. Don't focus on the family keep things private part

Cause that's what humans do in every facet of our life.

Dude spare the drama, we can still guess and hypothesize on a message board.

you can make an argument it doesn't fit in the profile. That's fine. I'm not saying drugs fits her profile or not but its a logical guess with the nature of any aspiring model/actress chick with a sudden tragic event in the night. Suicide is floating around too.... not sure which is worse. I dont' think you get rushed to the hospital and put on life support cause you threw up one too many times.

it doesn't fit her profile of her health in recent pictures. that would be a process where she looks like dog shite for a long time.

in any event, how dare TigerinATL take a guess as to what could fit her profile. he should be ashamed of his hypocritical ways.

This whole thread is a terrific example of the negative aspects of this current age of information. You have five pages of people speculating about the health of the girlfriend of a basketball player, with an endless amount of assumptions and uneducated guessing. It's stupid.

You're free too, but there are consequences too such freedom. People that consider it tasteless will tell you so for instance. Unless she's ok, this isn't a story I want to find out the ending of as soon as possible.

I'm not saying drugs fits her profile

Then you shouldn't consider it a logical guess.

Suicide is floating around too

People, especially people in the spot light, put on a fake happy face all the time. But what little I've seen of them in public and in social media never seemed the least bit contrived. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I would really be surprised if this ended up being some sort of self inflicted harm.

You are defending making baseless judgements/accusations about another person you do not know in the middle of a horrible situation because you read People magazine.
