One head of tasteless Iceberg Lettuce - Quartered (25 Cents.) House Dressing (25 Cents.)
Obscene "Markup" for "Trendy" Diners.

Me too. And, I like a good martini. Guess I'm "trendy" again...

The wedge is trendy? Wait until you discover casseroles. Mind Blown!!!

Yes it is a marked up dish. Like nearly all salads.

The utter stupidity o the suckers eating the crap and marveling at how much prep time and imagination went into its production. It is similar in a manner to calling a salad a caprese on the menu. Calling it a BMT is the same, but wow it is written using an Italian name.

I like the cut and it holds up to a heavier dressing like blue cheese very well. I love the center parts of the iceberg so it's all good for me. Never knew they were trendy, though. Thought they'd been served by steakhouses for years and years and usually with a homemade house blue cheese dressing and bacon which ups the price.

Where are you eating that they are so overpriced? Salads in general are nice money makers and I don't see this one being any more expensive than any others.

I'm an iceberg man myself. Don't be caring if it's got zero nutritional value. I like the crunch and the moisture content. I'm also a big bleu cheese and bacon fan. You go to combining a nice fresh hunk of iceberg with some good blue cheese and bacon, shite man, game on.

If they are made with premium ingredients then it is an excellent salad. The tasteless iceberg is simply a canvass allowing the ingredients to shine. Pair those ingredients with a flavorful arugula or herb blend and you miss out on the synergistic blend of bleu cheese, bacon and diced tomatoes.

No as much as Columbian coke, but it certainly has a following.
