$1 million to the Football Facilities Renovation Fund, which was the biggest donation from a former Miami athlete the school had ever received.

I mean a lot of those guys may top out at a couple of million for their careers tops...not really sure what you're going for here. A million bucks is a pretty big hit even if you make 30M for your career.

1 million is nothing if you have 300,000,000. Look up their saleries. You know they could give back to the school that got them where they are today.

They've given plenty back to the community in the form of luxury car leases, rim and stereo installs, bottle service purchases, side piece rents, baby mama payments, and custom jewelry purchases.

the rock has a net worth of around 70M bucks. I'd say that's pretty fricking generous especially since none of his money really has anything to do with the University of Miami.

Only a handful of those players listed have made serious money so far in their careers. And a smaller fraction of those likely have anything substantial saved or not earmarked for future child support payments and knee/hip replacements or medication.

Also, their contracts aren't guaranteed. So they might never see the artifically inflated years of the deals they signed previously.

Finally, Miami athletes seem to become a bit conceited and those people don't always tend to give money away.

I agree. It's not like he's had a stellar 15-year NFL career following his time at the U. Very generous donation by Rock.

Honestly, i would never give LSU 1 Million dollars no matter how much i've made. Unless i get to bang the cheerleading squad or something.

I got to go in that building because I was recruited there. Pretty cool stuff in there and saw Jacory Harris on the training table.
