What good wines have you had recently?

With so much talk of beer, I know people have been drinking some good wine recently. Let's hear them.
With this hot arse weather, I've been hammering whites and roses. My two recent favorites:
2012 Gundlach Bundschu Tempranillo Rose - phenomenal, wish I had picked up another bottle.
2012 Robledo Sauvignon Blanc- goes down easy. Could easily sit and polish off a bottle in one dinner.
Each bottle is around $30 give or take a few bucks.

My lady friend had a bottle of this the other day, she said it was fantastic.
I generally just nod and smile when it comes to her booze recommendations.

Marqués de Cáceres, 2008 Crianza
$9.99 a bottle at Meijer´s in Michigan. Drank a lot this past week.
Also had a well aged wine from Georgia, which really surprised me. Estate cultivated and bottled, of an autoctonous grape which was very, very hearty. I´d say it was a strange mix between Carménére and Monastrell. Subtle brandy, red currant hints, strong Carménére type finale.
I´m always leery of Eastern European wines, especially when red, so I guess the total lack of any expectation helped, as well.
ETA Georgian varietal, Saperavi

Puke all you want, she drinks it like water and loves it. I love it too, if only because I know I can splurge a little more on my beer/cocktails of choice for the evening. She's a classy broad, but when it comes to booze she has the palate of a 16-year-old in the back of a Ford Bronco.

I've had a few nice reds...can't ever keep the names straight.

I had a 14 hands cab tonight with dinner. Hadn't bought a bottle of it in a while. I enjoyed it with dinner and made an excellent mushroom sauce with it.
$16 at Albertsons. But picked it up for $12 today

I've enjoyed Meiomi Pinot Noir since we started getting it here. From the Caymus family lineage, but under $20.

wasn't drinking wine much this summer but in the past couple weeks while vacationing I've had some good stuff. I always aim for value, fyi. Very rarely spend over $20 a bottle or $12 a glass for wine.
Veuve Ambal Brut Blanc de Blanc
2012 Domaine Bellevue Touraine Sauvignon Blanc
2009 Stonecrop Pinot Noir
2010 Jim Barry "The Lodge Hill" Shiraz

Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly 2010 (92 pts Tanzer)- Wonderful fuller bodied Beaujoulais for aound $24
Domaines Schlumberger Pinot Gris Spiegl Grand Cru 2007- Beautifully ripe wine showing the true potential of this grape
Palacios "Petalos" Bierzo 2009- From the grape Mencia (basically Cab Franc), lighter on the palate with touches of red fruits and earth (93 points Spectator)
Rolf Binder Hanisch Shiraz 2006- Really a nutty oak on the nose with coffee and dark fruit components (not worth the 97 point rating from Parker)
Lewis Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2011- Really a fuller bodied version of this grape with tons of lime zest and acidic structure
Tonight: Villa Maria Dry Riesling 2010 Marlborough "Cellar Selection"- Wonderfully acidic with notes of rubbery/glycerine phenolics, lime zest, white peaches, and a touch of honeysuckle. Really a nice wine from the land of Kiwis
