I got Roxie on Saturday, July 27th from ReelFun. She has been a great pup ever since. She sleeps through the night in her kennel with no problem at all. She is nearly housebroken with very few mishaps inside. She loves the water! I can't keep her out of her water bowl. She will retrieve and bring back anything I throw for her. Just thought some of you might be interested in how she's doing. Maybe some of the other guys can chime in with an update on their pups.

This kills me. I wanted one of them so bad but the timing just wasn't right.

Have fun with her. She looks awesome.

Reminds me of my mom's GR, Birdie. She's been caught "fishing" many times in the Koi pond.

Great looking dog you got there.

Man, I bet those are going to end up being some really neat dogs! Would have loved to have had one, but I'm dogged out right now!

This is "Buster" on the ride home at 8 weeks old.

He sleeps in a kennel all night. Great smart dog so far. Only problem I have is that he wants to eat everything. He has even trimmed a few rose bushes. Loves the water, but not much on a bath. Hits the pond every morning. He did get a little action in watching my other two dogs fighter/kill a big arse coon. My 90 lb lab is now his best buddy. Half the day they ruff house.

Buster at 10 weeks. Got a little darker and starting to get a good coat of hair like a lab. He is now trained on a leach. He does keep his nose to the ground and watches any bird that comes in view. Has sit and stay down pat. Like any pup/lab, he is ADD.

Cute pups! Glad to see they're doing well. I wish I had been able to scoop one up. I think a labkin is a very interesting crossbreed but they seem to be good dogs.

This is "Ellie" my yellow lab, she is now 27 pounds at 13 weeks. She loves the water cant keep her out of the pond or the toilets haha. She is pretty much house broken probably goes outside 80% of the time.

That they are. My 14 year old golden died this summer. My wife is almost ready for another pup. The golden was her baby.

I would live a Labkin. Would be a good house dog and a fine pal n the duck blind.

LSU, glad to hear she is working out for you! Sounds like you are doing a great job with her.
