I have been seeing and hearing a lot about Rickey Jefferson but nothing about White? Anybody know how he has been doing?

He's in the mix to be the third CB on the field in the nickel and also one of the gunners on punt team.

Well if he plays anywhere close to as good as Holliday did at DE, we'll be in great shape.

Continues to push Collins for the other CB spot. Will play a lot in the nickel this year.

Early on, White was being talked about ALOT because he was very impressive early on in camp. Now, it sounds like hes finally hitting that freshman hump where his progress is slowing down to that of a normal freshman. Still doing really well, were just throwing more things at him and hes not doing as well as he was early on. Which is completely fine. I actually like it. It shows he has room to improve, which is awesome.

Early on, Tre White was always mentioned in the group of freshman that are impressing. Now that we are getting into the more advanced things in regards to the playbook and are expecting more out of the players, hes slowed down a little bit. Which is very very normal. He will be the 3rd CB and the nickel. Play alot of ST and well get alot of PT on D.

I really think a lot of people are sleeping on Collins. I never thought White had a legit shot at taking his spot, especially considering PP only started 4 games as a true freshman, and hes the best DB we have ever had.. And its not a bash on White at all. I just think Collins is going to be a stud. Chavis has been grooming him for this season. If he has the year I think he can, he could go pro. He has that much ability. White will be a damn good DB too. Just needs to get acclimated to SEC football and actually play a game first.

All in all, we are loaded at DB. Ive been extremely impressed with all the young DBs.

To my knowledge, RR is still NOT on campus. Redshirt might be coming his way

They have workouts pretty much all summer long. I think it starts first week in June and last til end of July. Then, its football camp.

It can only mean as of today, he isn't as good as people on here thought he was. He will need extra time to develop.

The coaches haven't mentioned the two 5 star players(T. White and F. Herron) as impressing which means they need more time.

A lot of people put a tremendous amount of pressure on this kid before he ever got here, dismissing Collins as if he was a scrub.

Right now, Shaq isn't better than Collins. The cover skills are there but he just has to put it all together.

Jefferson has been the better DB thus far

This. Kid has the ability, but you have to convince the coaches you know the playbook. He will be seen a lot IMO, this year, but there is a learning curve...Special teams for sure.
