I know it's only preseason, but he's getting a ton of love from the ESPN NFL analysts about his instincts and his playing ability and that he looks like he hasn't missed a year of football.

I said this after he got drafted and I'll say it again, I wish him nothing but the best with his career and I wish he would've been a Tiger a little longer.

Agreed. Happy to see the kid doing so well. I think most would agree that his talent was never the question. The question is if he can keep himself out of trouble. Wish him all the best.

It really looked like he didn't lose a step. It's preseason, but he looks to be a big part of that defense this year. Can't wait to see him play.

agreed. So far the prevailing opinion is that he has 2 guys he played with (Peterson & Minter) around him as a support system. I think Arizona was the perfect place for him to go, in terms of players around him that he knows, has played with, and respects.

Yea right all i read was he too short, he 2 slow, he a crackhead, he will never make it in the nfl, He will never play on the outside, he will go undrafted, no way he gets drafted in the top 3 rounds. Kid is one of a kind and I don't think i'll ever see a player at LSU as talented as he was.

If we had TM7 and Chris Faulk last year I think LSU would have been undeafeated

Nobody ever questioned his football abilities. I can't say im surprised that he is excelling with Ariz. Having Peterson there to mentor him is a perfect situation for Mathieu

those games still bring back nightmares. Our defense should be better because the secondary has nowhere to go but up. I still think simon and reid will have great nfl careers but they sucked arse last year real talk. loston definitely outplayed reid and mills outplayed simon.

He'll never make it in the league. Too small and only 2 reps at 225 at the combine.

everyone's got their favorites, and it's pretty subjective and hypothetical

While I hope he stays out of trouble everyone keeps mentioning this but he had these guys with him at LSU and he still got in trouble there. Don't think he suddenly just started failing drug tests right before Les suspended him. It had been going on for quite some time.

Me too but PP7 even more. If PP doesn't take him under his wing when he did, the outcome would be much different. TM owes PP a huge debt of gratitude.
