conferences will be even picks vs odd picks. need to set up the schedule as well. we cool with the 2 teams per week again or should we just do a 14 team schedule

Last year was 2-game weeks, and it was top 4 in the playoffs now that I think about it.
For instance Conf. A #1 played Conf. A #4. #2 and #3 played from the same conference as well. Winners played each other then one team from each Conference played in the finals with a consolation game where third got some money. I am not saying it should be done that way though, I am open to suggestions.
Also, how will payouts be done?
