On ESPN2 right now. Rafa up on early break. It finally feels like hardcourt season is upon us. The winner should easily handle Milos Raonic tomorrow.

This has been a weird tournament. Federer didn't play. Murray lost early. Del Potro was tired from last week and lost early. It seems like most guys try hard at one or the other out of Canada and Cincinnati. Hopefully, next week is a little better overall, although tonight should be the titties. Novak has been dancing around to Daft Punk after matches this week.

I'll also take this time to ask if anyone thinks a guy should call it on himself when he runs into the net. The umpire missed it when Raonic did it on a huge point against Del Petro. People are hammering Raonic for being a poor sport. Part of me thinks he should have called it on himself, part of me thinks, frick it, this isn't golf, take the good breaks when you can get them.

If a ball you're positive was in was called out, would a player say something? No. That's why they pay officials to be out there.

Rafa playing great hard court ball right now. Much different style than we're used to with him.

Djokovic with the yips? 5 doubles in the first set. Shades of 2010 Sharapova.

That game was fricking awesome.

Both players at net, Nadal hits Djokovic in the chin, apologizes, Novak acts like a bitch. Nadal closes out the game with an ace after being down 0-30.

Just fantastic.

Djokovic is really annoying, but he doesn't hold a candle to the OCD/ADD topspin monkey.

I sincerely disagree. But I've never, ever cared for Djokovic.

7-0 in the breaker would've been awesome.

Kobe style butt rape in the tiebreak. Good for the Mallorcan. US Open will be amazing to watch.

Djoker left his towel near field of play and yelled at the ball boy for it. What sweetheart.

My biggest problem with Djokovic is the bitching to his box. If he cut that out he'd be so much more palatable.

I loved this. Nothing like a little bad blood between rivals.

For my money, there is no better sports viewing than Rafa and Djoker playing each other. Styles makes fights, and these guys bring out the best in each other.

The match tonight was just EXCELLENT tennis.

Shades of 2010 Rafa hard court tennis. Playing closer to the baseline, trying to finish points quickly, moving forward to close out points, etc. I love it. I don't think Rafa has any idea how good his volleys are. He might be the best volleyer on the tour. In fact, McEnroe has stated this repeatedly.

If he amp up his serve like he did in 2010, the USO will be very interesting.

What are the chances Raonic beats Rafa tnrw? Do they make negative percentages?

I'd give him a 7% chance. Seriously, that's probably where I'd put it. And that's probably high.
