They have like 12 guys, and they have like normal settings, and I think they have like football players and not basketball or baseball.

At 8, lock up a RB1 that will get 300 touches....Lynch/Morris/Rice

Round two look for best non QB available....Seriously, too much QB value in later rounds. Either go RB/RB or RB/WR or TE

Graham, Gronkowski, Magatron all MIGHT be available in round 2...if not and all went early look to lock down another RB that slid

ETA: the most general advice I can give is to just wait on a QB

RGIII, Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Stafford etc should all be available after round 5.

The only way I would grab a top QB this year is if I drafted 1 or 2 and could grab Brees or Rodgers to end the 2nd round

There is no shot in hell megatron will be there at 17

Gronkowski should 100 percent be there at 17.

If either of these statements is proven wrong then there are some really bad drafters in his like 12 person league.

Yea, scoring settings and roster positions don't matter at all...

Take the best RB available.

It's unlikely, but if he is in a league of co-workers who are inexperienced, there might be an early run on overvalued QBs

In 2, he's likely to face the decision of a 2nd tier WR (Bryant, Marshall, Green), or a RB or WR that slid. Locally, I would not be surprised to see Graham go earlier than Megatron in some leagues.

Yeah jimmy goes really early in Louisiana based leagues as does brees. The Dez, marshall, AJ debate is tough. I think Dez has the highest ceiling/most talented of the trio. He's also the biggest risk.

I HOPE I don't have to make it. I'd love to end up going RB/RB...last year we had a guy who went Gronk/Graham, so a few RBs slid.

Ray Rice/MJD or CJ2K, Ridley would do me just fine..pair that with Roddy White and Victor Cruz and I'll be a happy man

Your only strategy should be wait to see who's there at 8. There's always a monkey wrench thrown in by a knuckle head that changes things. (Tom Brady #1 overall).

The only thing I would suggest is QBS are deep this year. Wait til the later rounds to get one.

I agree with this so much, and am starting to hear it so much I might have to abandon this strategy if Rodgers drops to mid 2nd

We give 6 for a pass TD so qb's will go pretty early even this year so I'm certain to get good RB value in 1 and 2

So should I go RB, WR, RB, TE? For my first 4 picks?

If anyone answers this, as yes or no, they are idiots.

You can't predict how the draft will go. Players will fall, people will reach. If you plan what you will take before hand, you are doomed

Can't really say until you see how the draft plays out. You can go in with a stretegy and "targets", but be careful not to over value them because they are your targets.

It may be better to go RB/TE, or RB/WR ...all depends on how it plays out

Yep. We had 5 QBs go in the first round in my league with irl friends. Standard scoring with 4 pt pass TDs too. Picking 4th I got Charles, McCoy, and Marshall the first 3 rounds. Never thought it would fall like that.
