"Alabama's November 9 showdown with LSU is shaping up to be one of the biggest recruiting events of the year so far with several four- and five-star prospects recently setting plans to take their official visits to Alabama that weekend."

Article lists 8 recruits already known to be attending. It would be a blow to Bama's efforts if the Tigers kept their crowd quiet the whole game. In any case, it's the LSU game that they are using to sell their program.

Makes sense

Those games have been the best games of the year the last several years. And frankly they just don't have another marquee game at home this year.

It will be so epic to see those Tuscaloosa tears again after we win. Should be huge for our recruiting efforts as well. Thanks for sharing

of course alabama is using the lsu game to boost recruiting efforts. if manziel's not playing when bama plays, lsu is the only other competitive game for the year. they're favored over 2 touchdowns every other game.

I'm sure a few of those recruits are looking at LSU and Bama, could go both ways.

Gonna suck to have a crying fanbase lose in front of all those recruits...

and how sweet would it be if they lost the only tough game on their schedule. The computers will NOT love Bama this year, hopefully that weak SOS will finally help to dampen the media love fest for Saban and the Tide.

He's said for a long time that he is deciding at the one of the all star games, so technically yes since those games are after LSU-Bama.

I think he means at the UA All Star game. I'm sure someone asked if he would announce before the LSU-Bama game and he said he would announce after, but not immediately after the game.

Everyone was pissed when we beat them in 2011. Low scoring game, boring, not the game of the century. I mean people were so appauled by that game they struck it from memory and gave bama another shot.

That's the only game they have to get up for. The rest will be easy.
