Down 1-3 in the top of ninth against the Yankees, Miguel battles against Mariano Rivera and hits a 2-run HR to dead center to tie the game and keep the hopes of extending the win streak alive.

The best in the game and your should-be AL MVP

Got to watch the live look in on my phone. It was pretty incredible how he fouled two off of his leg and limps into the batters box and hits that bomb.

Yeah when I first turned on the game I noticed something right away was off but it took me a minute to realize they were wearing those weird hats.

Yeah he was not feeling good at all after those back-to-back painful foul balls. Idk how he regained his composure and hit that HR. Even in the dugout after he was showing some pain.

The Yankees first baseman should have caught that pop up in foul territory to end the game.

But since I hate the Yankees I thought it was great

Yeah, that is all Mike Trout does. He hasn't put together two of the greatest before age 22 seasons ever or anything

But yeah, Miggy is amazing. Definitely the best hitter alive and he will run away with the MVP. Although, I do think a good case could be made for Trout.

Bump. Won the game last night with the walk off hr, and started the day today with another. Only 4 behind Chris Davis.

He was a god for 10 years. I would have to really compare them to decide who is better, but Pujols is one of the greatest players I have ever seen.

Miggy was underrated as frick when he was a Marlin.

Miggy has learned how to work the strike zone as he has aged.... He went from striking out 120+ times a year to not cracking 100 for the past 4 years.

Miguel Cabrera = Hank Aaron

it's scary how Aaron-like Cabrera's numbers are if you compare them to Aaron's stats through his age-30 season

Their career numbers are incredibly close. Only difference being that Pujols has 2-3 years on Cabrera.

Pujols - .321/.410/.599 with 492 HRs.

Cabrera - .321/.399/.570 with 360 HRs.

We will have to see how Cabrera's career ends, but it's safe to say that these guys are 1A and 1B as the greatest hitters of our generation.
