CHAMPIONSHIP
Arthur Dayne "The Sword of the Morning"
v
Robert Baratheon "The Usurper"
I have been going back and forth on this and really think it depends on how they are armored. I finally chose Robert bc I think his style and weapon choice give him an advantage if they are armored in plate, which I assume they would be. If both were in chain mail I would likely choose Dayne but I don't see Robert going that route.

If this is warhammer Robert, he could defeat Dayne. That is how I based my decision . Plus Dayne died at the Tower of Joy.

Robert was killed by a pig.

But he was drunk as a skunk.

And Dayne was outnumbered by skilled fighters.

Yeah, Robert was drunk because Lancel kept giving him the strong wine.
I think Sword of the Morning was a force to be reckoned with but if he was invincible he would've survived the Tower of Joy.

WHAT IF.....
Howland Reed warged into Dayne, allowing him to be killed. Jojen had to get his abilities from somewhere, maybe his old man could warg.

Dayne easily.
Even in King Joffery's time, the Kings Guard are supposed to be the best knights available-- even if they're a significant step down with the reorganization, Jamie's quote was telling--
"I learned from Ser Arthur Dayne , the Sword of the Morning, who could have slain all five of you with his left hand while he was taking a piss with his right."

That theory would fit well into the Crackpot thread.

Naw, because when Bran wargs into Hodor, Jojen says nobody has ever done that so no way Howland did.
CRACKPOT THEORY CRUSHED

Well maybe, just maybe, Howland swore an oath to never do it again or mention it. I imagine his good buddy Ned, as honorable as he was, would frown upon the use of mind control. Queue the Twilight Zone music!

Howland Reed warged into Lord Dustin's red stallion,(yes they were mounted) the most read horse in all 5 books?
It is the red horse that saves Ned/kills Dayne.
