Let's Re-establish LSU's New Jersey Alumni Chapter!

Efforts are now underway to re-establish the Louisiana State University (LSU) New Jersey (NJ) Alumni Chapter. It is open to ALL LSU alumni and fans from anywhere in the world who want to see this happen. Check us out on Facebook at: LSU NJ Alumni and Fans. Once established, we will plan activities, in addition to the annual Jersey Shore SEC Kickoff (www.jerseyshoreseckickoff.com). GEAUX TIGERS!

Who are you? All of your posts have been pimping various locations. I would possibly attend of this were legit, although I'm not sure how much sense it makes with the NYC alumni bar so close.

I wish I could make it to BR for a game. On the bucket list to get back there some day. In the mean time TV and here. By the way, I tried to join the Facebook group and we shall see.

Nah. I lived in Astoria for a while, years back, however. Had a good time. We just recently moved to the Jersey suburbs (Montclair/Verona area). I try to make it in to Legends for a couple of games a season, but I generally enjoy cooking and watching at home. My last game in BR was the Bama game in 2010. I want to try to make another one soon, but not sure about this season.

that's where it'd make sense to have a chapter...
when i was in maryland, i made a half-hearted attempt to get something going in frederick county...was simpler and a lot more fun to make the 4 hour drive to legends in NYC...
