It's hypocrisy to the fullest. All for running a tight ship and putting morals over winning, except for when it's LSU. Just win, baby.

There are plenty of people that irrationally defend Les' actions. So far, I don't see anything wrong with how he's handled it, at least from what we actually know and have seen. Simple matter of the fact is, we as fans who follow the program, or as in most people's cases, read inflammatory pieces by the Greg Doyle's of the world, don't know what exactly the discipline will be or has already been at practice. My guess is, and I hope this is true, that Les will still suspend Hill for at least the TCU game. I would be disappointed if Hill doesn't miss any. He's playing his cards close, if I had to guess. He doesn't really owe an explanation to anyone on his actions thus far, IMO.

I just wish people would get off Les' nuts and stop jumping to conclusions that he is "hiding behind his players" and "win at all costs", etc, when they don't really even know what the frick is going on.

Do people REALLY think that Les made no decision himself and the players voted and "that's that!"? It's almost like people just really want to be outraged.

I mean, yea, the hypocrisy is very real, but it's LSU fans. for the most part, they aren't rational.

I don't think he necessarily let the players make up his mind, I think that he made the decision to reinstate him but used the whole players vote thing to deflect.

I do think Hill will be suspended, I just find the LSU fans funny.

Can't say he didn't call it how it was. A team vote is a total charade.

Never have I, nor will I ever defend the actions of the rant. I will fully admit they are a bunch of idiots.

Yeah, I could see how you'd see it that way. I just think it was a classic case of Les not being able to articulate in any way. My way of interpreting it is that he made the decision (a decision that he said from word "go" would be his) and wanted to also allow his team to take some ownership of the situation.

Mentioning the player vote publicly to a group of media members that could smell blood, I guess, was his only misstep in my view.

Oh, I agree. The sanctimonious douches on the other side of the coin are pretty funny too.

Starting Heisman player? Who won the Heisman that got kicked off? He also didn't really have a choice with Jefferson while the shite was going on, then he let him back on...

Hud has kicked off a starting middle linebacker and probably our most talented rush end. He's also suspended players for failed drug tests, before the 15th failed test.

His whole point is pretty dumb since no one even knows if Hill will play against TCU

This is really what it boils down to. And we won't know if he is suspended until the clock in Dallas hits 0:00 and Hill hasn't played.

No one will know when Hill's punishment is over until he gets into a game. Could be in the 2nd half against TCU, could be during the UGA game. Les will never let us know
