Didn't we almost get Lache Seastrunk?

I remember reading his name a lot a few years ago. What happened with us and him? Didn't he have an Uncle or something that posted here?

we wanted him, but apparently he was gonna be the next big thing at Oregon, and now Baylor. Which means he will lead them to like a 9 win season.

He was looking at LSU for a while.

Yes it was between LSU and Oregon. People were pretty sure he was going to be a tiger. Russell shepherd 2.0.

Have you seen him play? Dudes an animal. In that Baylor Kansas St game last year, he ripped off a huge run and just as he crossed the 50 he started cramping up and still outruns the entire defense for a 70+ yard TD.

No doubt. Once it was learned he was up for sale, LSU dropped out and Auburn stepped up after never really being in the running.
Of course, that because the only way that Auburn can get national recruits like Lache and sCam Newton is to pay them. I mean, it's not like anyone else would go to that cesspool of a village on the dump unless they were getting paid.

We almost got anyone ever highly recruited if you ask LSU fans. We were top 5 but I don't think it ever came down to us.

There was a cloud of rumors surrounding his recruitment. I think LSU totally backed away from him in the end.
