For those who are cordcutters: regarding CFB

Are you able to successfully watch all the college football with HD quality, along with other sports I have little interest in?
I'm tired of being raped by cable companies.

I've never not been able to find a CFB online somewhere. Not always in HD, though. There's a European site that streams all the American networks. If it's not on anywhere else, it'll be on there.

I'll never give up my cable. My wife has mentioned it a few times over the past few months, but there's no way. I wouldn't get to watch the Braves all summer, nor college football in the fall. We get Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC over the air in HD if I had an antenna, but my girl watches Disney Jr, my wife watches HGTV/DIY, and I watch DIY, Food Network, ESPN, SportSouth, FoxSportsNet, and AMC when Breaking Bad/Mad Men are on. Plus random stuff on Sci, like Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman. And when nothing else is on I can usually find a How It's Made or MythBusters, or Pawn Stars, or any other cable show to pass the time. Plus I have my whole home DVR.

your addiction to HD may be what keeps you getting raped.
as Jim Rockford said, you can usually find the streams on the pirate sites. firstrowsports is the big name one. but they are of varying quality.
also, when you cut the cord, you may also find that sports become less important to you. by not having ESPN and other sports networks, with all the talking heads, commercials, pumping up of mediocre games, etc, you'll find that you aren't manipulated into thinking that sports are more important than they actually are.

I don't know many "cordcutters" that care that much about sports..Myself included..

I have debated cutting the chord but haven't yet for sports. I debated getting cox and just dropping down to the very basics during non football and stepping back up to get espn and fox sports during football but haven't yet.

Man, is that the fricking TRUTH

I agree with most of this but missing CFB isn't an option. ESPN3 is a good option for those games but the quality is terrible. Or canceling cable all year minus football season.

Going to a sports bar is always an option.

I think most people would settle for SD quality. Every time I've tried to watch a Hornets/Pelicans game online the streams are TERRIBLE. Not only are they low resolution, they are choppy dropping frames like crazy.
