I love Blue, and since we share the same Alama Mater I am certainly pulling for the guy to have a great year and have a solid shot at making it in the NFL. That being said, Hill looked like a different level back when he finally got touches last year. If it's based on merit alone, I'd be surprised if Hill doesn't overtake him again.

Blue can do the same as Hill can.... Plus Blue already has an advantadge over Hill as far as the NFL. He has ZERO baggage..........

Hill seems to really excel in the second half when defenses start wearing down so it might actually make more sense for Blue to get more 1st quarter carries. Let Hill get warm in the first half and let him put the nail in the coffin in the second half.

This seems like a good plan. Plus you throw Hilliard in for a few brusing runs and you dominat ANY 4th quarter against ANYONE.........

Ok, tell yourself that. Right now there is no doubt Hill is a better runner than Blue. I like Blue, but Hill is better now, will be better this year, and will be a better pro.

Blue's injuries are a lot more worrisome to an NFL team than Hills history.

I won't disagree with this.........

At this moment??? NO.. Hill is not in football shape. Is he better overall??? Yes...... BUT Blue was rocking last year pre-injury..... And I would say there is a better chance that HILL screws UP again before Blue does at all......... I will say this. If Hilll gets the start over Blue in the TCU game. I will NOT continue to be a Miles Fan........

You honestly think Hill is the best player on the entire football team?

I do.

PJ. I love you man, but I don't see how it's even really debatable. Hill is better then blue, I don't see how it can be disputed. He is the whole package. He shredded elite defenses and has the best vision of all the backs and has elite top end speed.

Blue did well against lesser opponents. No one could stop hill last year. As far as people saying Hilliard getting reps over him, no way. I was disappointed in his performance last year. Hopefully he does MUCH better this year.

All three of those guys are going to be very good. But there sometimes are things that a back needs that aren't just about running with the ball. Blocking, ball security, playing without making dumb mistakes, etc. I understand that Blue was better at blitz pickups but the point is that these guys are close and the decision on starting may come to more than just the best runner. Hilliard may surprise you if he gets a little quickness back as he supposedly lost 20 pounds.

You just blew up your entire argument with that one statement.

This is his year, Hilliard has a ton to gain by a great year, do well, Blue and Hill gone, and you are splitting the backfield with Fournette and are in the catbirds seat to go to the NFL. We need a good Hilliard this year.

hopefully Hilliard runs a little tougher this year, because he certainly wasn't a "bruiser" last year...

Blue is and will be a good back this year. Sad that our fans are the ones underestimatingg him. But having hill and blue as a one-two punch is nice. Have watched Blue grow and develop had he not been hurt last year early half of you may not know hill. While I admit Hill is a great back and has a bright future if he can have better judgement.

I never said he wasn't.......... But Right now I am worried about the Focus Hill will have and I wish Miles would just say SOMETHING. Like he is out for however many games or he is not. Its not fair to the rest of the team........... Hill was a BEAST last year. And [AGAIN ]Miles did NOT use him the right way............

Miles does know how to motivate and make the game fun & interesting for his players. His team may not win all of them but they are always in the hunt. They play well and hard for him.

IMO, Blue has always gotten more PT than he seemed to deserve. I have to think he's a better practice player, better at protection, better intangibles, etc. but not better overall than a lot of the backs he took PT away from. Getting Hill back on the squad is HUGE and cannot be underestimated.

what? Injuries are the only thing that have slowed Blue. He is the biggest homerun threat and very AP like when healthy. Check out his ypc
