Does it matter who is better; Blue, Hill, Hillard, etc? We will need all three to win the SEC. What are the chances that all three go through the season without an injury? Let's be happy we have such talent period.

Being an LSU fan, if Hill gets more reps than Blue, Neighbors gets more reps than Copeland, Welter gets more reps than Barrow and Eugene gets more reps than Loston......and all of that happens because the first player is simply out performing the second isn't that a good thing? Also, isn't having depth a good thing. Put the best player on the field. I never understood the "we will be fine without ______ (fill in the blank" mentality. I want as many studs on the team as possible, such that there is little drop off when you sub one for the other.

I think Blue has more upside if he stays healthy. That being said, I'm quite happy to have both together in the backfield!

Not saying he is, but I'm surprised Jarvis hasn't been brought up in this little best player debate.

More upside than Hill!?

How?

Blue had a repaired ACL and another injury to his other leg.

He's either been passed up on the depth chart or injured at his time at Lsu.

I hope he does well because Lsu will need him but to say he's "better" than hill is absurd.

I would be surprised if he was. Most athletic, he's in the convo if not #1

I was just throwing a possible name. I think Freak is better tho. And I'd like to add that many experts have Loston as a top 5-7 safety in the country, just sayin.

He's probably the best player on the entire team pound for pound.

No doubt

Can you give us more in depth analysis of the previous practices you have seen with both blue and hill to justify the choice to run Blue before hill last year.... I mean you are on the coaching staff right?

He's not running with the 2's. 1st and 3rd string in the morning, 2nd and 4th in the afternoon. So he was really running with the 3rd string.

Ok. So he's a 3rd or 4th round guy, on a team with a bunch of 1st and 2nd round guys.

And Hill will go before the 3rd round?

I see your point, but a good safety is more sought after than a good RB in today's NFL.

Hill is a beast no doubt, but I guess I'm just higher on Loston than others.

It was said that he was "rusty" and everyone jumped to conclusions. I think it's just as likely he went out there and tore the freshman a new one yesterday and Miles wanted to light a fire under his arse.

Exactly, what was he going to say, Hill is in great shape and looks like he is in full beast mode

His stats are better than Dorsey's at this point in their careers. He hasn't underachieved. He's right on schedule.

Hill is the best player on the team. Better than Blue and will be drafted higher.

Both will probably not be drafted as high as they could have been with out their issues. I see blue as a very consistent yard getter but Hill is a freak at 235+ with break away speed.
