This exactly poor people talk and talk and end up hanging themselves.
Rich people keep it close to the vest.

Maybe in the South. I know some wealthy over the top flamboyant people in the Northeast and out West.

Poor people have jobs that work them aerobically more than 4 days a week.

Good point.
I think they also have stuff to look forward to.

imho the only ones that really look to be habits of successful people would be 5, 9, 10, and 19. Write down goals, have a to do list, read about bettering self and networking within profession. the rest are suspect.

I wonder how selfishness factors in...if behaviors were broken down into 2 categories--behaviors focused on: (1) Self (2) Others
(1) to wealthy would not be a revelation
Curious about (2) and poor people...if any different on that end of economic spectrum...

I'd argue that a lot of the things on the list are things that people do after they're wealthy
Not necessarily things that got them there

I think the rest of the list is a lifestyle type thing. Most people who care enough about their bodies to aerobically exercise, also care enough about their mental health to read, or about their careers to wake up early enough to be warmed up. Things like that. Most people who watch reality TV don't care about what garbage their subconsciously ingesting, so why is it a surprise they don't care enough to not spend their money on worthless crap.
Also I work lawn maintenance at 6AM until 3 PM, and that's not enough to be an aerobic exercise. It really doesn't burn that many calories.

It has to be hereditarian biological determinism or human biodiversity. Those were the two biggest hits on google. Apparently rich people are racist as well.

I find it challenging to read this list and not be offended. When you have money (wealth) it's easy to have time to work out, read, volunteer, and dream. When you are working from paycheck to paycheck your dream is to provide food on the table for that night. The poor aren't always poor because of bad financial habits, especially with the recent economy issues. I'm disappointed in this list and the negative stigma it places on the "poor" and the arrogance it encourages on the "wealthy".
Lol, I work 65-70 hours a week and have time to workout 5 days a week, read, eat well, etc. Quit making excuses you poor.

I am going to start doing all these things tomorrow. I will enter my current net worth, salary, and weight into my calendar with a reminder to bump this on 8/11/2014 and report back the percentage changes.
