Borderlands 2: So my Golden Keys don't transfer?

Been playing on Xbox console for months back in the states. Starting playing on laptop (Steam) while here at Baghram but when I used my email and password for golden keys. All I got was one key and a message "Thanks for registering". So my question is, does Golden Keys transfer between platforms when using the same Gearbox Account?
Chances are there was already a thread on this but couldn't come up on search, plus I lose patience with shitty Sniper Hill internet here at post.

Hmm. I would have just assumed that was the case considering they weren't cross-platform, but since it's a Shift deal, I'm curious why that couldn't transfer between platforms, unless there isn't a way for them to know how many you've used.
ETA And duh, when they issue the keys, they separate them between platforms.

i'm not sure why you would think they would transfer.
besides you can farm for better weapons than what the golden keys can give you.

get the Hide of Terramorpheaus shield. it's beast.
i never use the Bee. I'm not a sit back and snipe type player. i like to be all up in their shite Phaselocking or blasting them while my turret slags them.

It's been a while since I last played so the issue has since left my mind.
Do look forward to farming. Maybe get a buddy to lan line or online with me once I beat the game to play on TVM. Got all the DLC so want to tryout other characters apart from Gunzerker.

I had a bee drop yesterday on pc. only lvl 50 though. but as a commando idk how good it would be
