the kickers should have as little an impact as possible
I don't want some 150 pound jackass that sits on the sideline the entire game to be making millions upon millions of dollars because you put such an importance on the weakest position in football

make field goals only worth 1 point and you can only elect to kick them twice during a game.

But football is also supposed to be a game of skill. I fail to see how this would cheapen the game.
If you don't care about skill and you just care about people being bigger and stronger and running each other the frick over why not just make the forward pass illegal also? Take all of the ball skill out of the game and must make it a death match.

How the hell did you jump to this?
I just want the positions that play 90 percent of the game to be the ones to decide the game

I'd like to see an experiment, in preseason, that FGs are worth one point for every ten yards.
Goal line to 10 yd. line - 1 point
10-20 yd line - 2 points, etc.
I would like to see just how much this might change third and fourth down strategy.

NFL Extra Point Stats 27 of 32 teams were 100% on extra points in 2012.

Kickers already decide games. Punters have an influence as well although it's less obvious.
What's wrong with everyone on the roster having an effect on the outcome of the game?
