Penn State players were allowed to leave for another school without sitting out a year, after the Sandusky male rape incidents in the showers. At the time JJ/JLee were so criticized that LSU seemed an opportunity to play the next year. It made sense.

Why would he just sit here, I would be on the move as we speak if I'm him. Why not go to a FCS school for the year??

He saw the quarterback talent we had. Why not? Honestly, I'm not too sure that Mettenberger is that much better.

mett's line in front of him was one of the worst i've seen at LSU
blame injuries, that's ok. but damn, they were just REALLY bad.
hopefully the line can give him some time to throw
they did in a couple of games, alabama being one of them, and look at what he did in that game...
