Realistic trade you would want the Pelicans to make

I think the pelicans should trade Eric Gordon, 2015 1st round pick for Danny granger and then trade two future first round picks for Greg Monroe.

Detroit loves them some Greg Monroe. He's not going anywhere.
And Gordon's contract makes him pretty hard to move unless he starts performing - but if he does start performing, then we probably wouldn't want to trade him, so there's that.

Eric Gordon's contract is almost identical to granger's. he could be our starting small forward and we would move evans to shooting guard.

Except one is expiring and the other is 3 more years. The Pacers just extended Hibbert and West and want to sign George to a max deal. They won't have the money to do that if that take on Gordon. Not only that but they are a small market team. I love how people don't know how the cap works.

Ok then trade the pel's 2016, 2018, and 2019 draft picks. Or acquire more 1st round draft picks then trade them.

Yeah if I was the gm the pelicans would never have any draft picks. But usually most of 1st rounders are busts.
