42 better get his arse in here and explain himself in typically incomprehensible, barely English fashion.

Another Pelicans board had a posting from a finge website reporting that Oden signed with Miami. It's down right now, so i can't give a link.

Generally, I tend to not believe the father's brother's nephew's sister's former roommate as a source.

42 isn't into rumor mongering and he's as objective as they come. He has very good reason to believe his source isn't lying to him, and is connected enough to know this information. It still could end up being wrong, but I think this is more reliable information than ESPN pandering to the Dallas market.

Oden's been waiting for the Heat to raise their offer. Hence finally putting out there a deadline. He is not passing up $2 million dollars more just to play for the Heat. He hasn't been doing all of this ridiculous rehab to play for charity.

1) 42 isn't a random poster
2) BSS is about the closest you'll get to have connections to the team from a website
3) Positive attitude!
4) Spears and ESPN aren't lined up and I trust Spears and his lack of agenda more.
5) ESPN admitted of the 3 bottom feeders that we were still in it, so why didn't they just list us with the other 3?
6) Positive attitude!

I wouldn't consider 42 a "random poster".

The Heat are not going to pax more luxury tax for Greg Oden. They can pay him the veteran minumum without tax penalties. The Pelicans can pay him $3 Million. if he is waiting for Miami to go over the tax for him, he will be waiting for a while.

He may be starting to crawfish. His latest tweet says other sources telling him down to Heat and Pelicans.
