Stevenson has to be the story of the summer for us. If he can carry his bat to the season next year, it will be huge.

Agreed. If he can become a consistent .275ish type hitter, that would be huge for us next year. I look for him to make a big jump at the plate this year. Yes, Javi doin work

Mainieri was asked about Stevenson's Summer and addressed the difference in his press conference a couple weeks ago. But his explanation is probably not what you want to hear.
