Was anyone a fan of the siding on the Hornets jerseys? I never quite got what they were trying to accomplish there.

I prefer ours to Cleveland's. And to be fair, Cleveland has had a lot of time to play with the color scheme and everything. I don't think a team's first jerseys are usually astounding.

It's crazy that the ppl on this board can create better looking uni's in 20min than our front office and owner. There just meh. Could be worse I'm sure but nothing special

They went for safe. The backlash from the name, and how much it was made fun of, along with people even bitching about logos, probably forced this. It's a simple look. It's not spectacular, it's not ugly. I am fine with that.

It's unbelievable that someone actually got paid to come up with this.
All those years and schooling put into graphic design and they come up with something a 7 year old could draw out.

They obviously had several concepts. Maybe they didn't transfer nicely onto actual jerseys. Stop bitching. Be a fan of another team or something.

Being a fan of the team has nothing to do with liking or disliking the jerseys.
The Pelicans are going to be great this year and make the playoffs .... They're just going to look ugly doing it lol

Peoples expectations were something extravagant, but if you look around the NBA most uniforms are plain. That's just the way it is. They are not ugly. Plain, sure, but definitely not ugly.

Can't say enough how much I hate the Saints colored gold. It doesn't go well with blue and red and the sparse use of red on the uniforms with the 'gold' edges just make the team look like the Saints of the NBA.
