We are going on an offshore charter this weekend out of Foley, AL. We are fishing for grouper. The guy is one of our vendors and is basically covering everything except the deckhand tip. I'm thinking at least $300 a hand. Should we tip more?

Damn! That seems like a lot but what do I know. Shame I turned down a deck hand job a couple summers ago if they're making money like that.

For one deckhand with 4-6 people, about 100-150. Give 20 bucks more per person if he cleans your fish

$300 is a lot. I usually tip $100-$150 depending on my experience.
