That was a good article. Jacoby will have a tough road ahead of him. But, knowing that kid, I bet he'll be back a little ahead of schedule

You are absolutely correct that most guys do not make it in the majors. Education to fall back on is key. I commend every LSU athlete that stays in school and gets their degree.

However, JJ got $612,000 for signing bonus. If he stayed for his senior year and graduated he loses all leverage and could get that number reduced to 5 figures for signing bonus after senior year. It would've been dumb for him not to sign.

Hopefully he is continuing his education to finish his degree. And good luck on the recovery Jacoby.
