Good evening Tiger Faithful, long time no post.

I was watching the 2007 LSU-Auburn game, and never realized what a perfect throw Cox Made to Rodriguez Smith for Auburn to take the lead in that game.

In fact Chevis Jackson played the route about as good as one could play it. The throw had to be perfect for it to be completed. If the ball were 6" lower Chevis might return it for a pick six.

It was one of the best passes I've seen at any level. What say you?

P.S. I know MF made a great pass to Byrd to win the game, but I don't think it was as good as Cox's pass.

Considering that throw kept our BCS hopes alive and won the game, I'd say it's a lot better.

There was a throw Jamarcus made (I think it was against Ole Miss or Miss St.) where he was hit mid-secction and his feet were a good foot off the ground when the ball was released. Not only did the throw go 30 yards or so, but it was spot on.

JR vs. MSU - pick almost any throw

JR @ Tenn (not in TS) is the best throw I've ever seen

Rick Clausen's first pass against Ole Miss in 2001. Ball went AT LEAST 10 yards past the receiver.

Actually I thought it was a better catch. The coverage was pretty good.

This one was just nice. Russell was just unreal that game

Oh yeah, but Sexy Rexy had a few in 2001 that were unbelievable

What as miserable fricking day, Saban got worked 4:53 and 5:25 stick out in that video.

I don't remember when, but JR rolling left and flings one about 60+ yards to Lafell.

or

Jamie Howard chunking it deep and watching Eddie Kennison run under them in stride. May have only happened once, but that image has always stuck

I was at that game. LSU scored TD's on its first 7 possessions. Worst arse-whippin I have ever seen.
The best part of that game was it was the first and only time I sat in the Club Level. The game was hit with a 1.5 hr lightning delay and my son and I "had" to sit in the buffet and bar and wait it out...

Serious answer:

There was a pass about halfway through the Florida game in 2001 @ TS where Rohan flung a lineman off him, spun around and rolled to his left and found Josh Reed on an absolute strike about 35 yards downfield. We got crushed so it is largely forgotten but that was one of the few that literally had my jaw dropped.
