Game Change - 2008 Presidential race ObamaVMccain

Recount - 2000 Presidential race BushVGore

Nixon - Watergate/Nixon

Too Big to Fail - the 2008 financial collapse

What are yalls thoughts on the above movies? I enjoyed them all. My least favorite of the four was Game Change ... I thought it was uncomfortably too hard on Palin. I really liked Recount and Too Big to Fail ... fascinating to think about those two situations.

Speaking of lefty propaganda political movies ala Aaron Sorkin, in The American President, where the hell was the Vice President?

I liked John Travolta's pseudo Clinton in Primary Colors.

They took some liberties with Game Change, but the worst/most embarrassing parts were direct quotes.

I saw most of W.

Man, that movie was bizarre.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to bitch about "propaganda".

Propaganda doesn't have to be as bad as Nazi Germany stuff.

It's not like HBO is gonna be putting out a documentary praising a conservative any time soon.
I don't know why it's so taboo to discuss the liberal slant in the media.

Good point. They didn't even mention one that I remember.

They want to paint it as a paranoid "conspiracy theory," and they apparently think no one was paying attention to the Trayvon "coverage" on CNN.

I just find it funny how the majority of this site assumes everything of this nature is liberal propaganda.

If I was liberal, I'd probably think it was unimportant, too.

+1

I liked Primary Colors overall as a movie too, probably seen it 5+ times. I think it was cast perfectly.

As far as the OP, I haven't seen Nixon or Too Big to Fail. I thought Recount was decent and watched in a 2nd time a few months ago. Game Change was a one time only viewing for me.

Why do they have liberals making movies about conservatives (W, Game Change)? I refuse to watch these films because they will be slanted.
