He's shown flashes of good vision and movement... We need him to make the step up from College to NFL this year. Good news is, we always have Mr. Reliable there (PT23).

You must have watched different games last year than I. Towards the last half of the year, I found that PT was surprisingly unsuccessful carrying the ball. In the beginning of the year he was fine.

I don't even have to look hard to find that their averages are identical with Ingram getting 2.5x the amount of carries.

Not to mention the fact that PT is an amazing check down option and a better pass blocker.

There is something to be said to the "stack the box" angle, but even so, there are also extra blockers to open gaps.

I don't think people here give a crap if Ingram is given a longer leash and a chance to succeed. They just don't want a 3.3 YPC Ingram rushing 250+ times this year.

Once again, my favorite ST meme.

The hate he gets from so many Saints fans really pisses me off. I hope he has a really good season. He came on strong toward the end of last season, and I think that will continue.

I also believe Payton will be able to rotate in the backs nicely. No more of defenses looking at Ingram being in and basically knowing it's a guaranteed run will not only help the offense, but will help Ingram's production as well. They need to get back to being unpredictable, and Payton is better at that than anyone. A top 10 rushing attack will happen this year, I feel it.
